Jordan Young - Miss DC's Takoma Teen

Jordan Edmunds Young is a proud third-generation Washingtonian and thriving member of the Class of 2028 at Bishop McNamara High School. A 2026 Language Immersion student, student council cabinet member, golf team athlete, and organ donor awareness advocate, she is also a cybersecurity and defense intern with the The Leadership Initiative at Georgetown University. As co-founder of the nonprofit, 1818 Legacy Project, Jordan leads an annual food insecurity campaign supporting DC youth during long school breaks. A trusted babysitter and mentor, she has served children in under-resourced countries and supported animal care at the Honolulu Zoo. She aspires to become a tech leader and philanthropist driven by innovation and service.

Salincya Archard - Miss DC's Cathedral Heights Teen

Salincya Archard arrived in Washington, D.C., during the COVID-19 pandemic, separated from her parents by nearly 1,000 miles. From this sour time emerged a sweet chapter. Now a junior at National Cathedral School, she serves as a student ambassador, a member of the Thespian Society, and President of the Multicultural Society. She founded the Lemon & Sugar Project to empower youth to take life’s lemons and add SUGAR—Support, Unburdening, Grace, Affirmation, and Resilience. A seasoned coxswain, she volunteers with Diversity on Deck and has also served as a MedStar Georgetown Hospital volunteer, a Strathmore/Woolly Mammoth Arts and Social Justice Fellow, and a member of Washington Performing Arts’ Children of the Gospel Choir. Salincya aspires to become a counselor and entrepreneur.

Promise Henry - Miss DC's Kalorama Teen

Promise Henry is a rising sophomore in college studying Chemistry at Howard University and aspiring to become a pediatrician focused on youth health and advocacy. Originally from North Carolina, she founded Promised Treazures LLC, a six-year business offering childcare, STEM tutoring, and a creative boutique featuring custom apparel and crochet designs. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant, STEM mentor, and Girl Scout Gold Award recipient. Promise previously served as President of the Wake County Youth Health Council and Co-Lead Youth Health Advisor with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. She is currently a histotechnology intern at an endoscopy clinic, gaining clinical and laboratory healthcare experience.
