The 2013 Miss District of Columbia Pageant will take place on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Arena Stage. Please read the eligibility requirements carefully in order to ensure that you are eligible for this year’s competition.
There is no entry fee to compete in the Miss DC Pageant. The winner and two runners-up will receive academic scholarships. Miss DC 2013 will represent the District of Columbia in the 2014 Miss America Pageant and will serve the Washington, D.C. community throughout the year, as a goodwill ambassador and promoter of various civic and philanthropic efforts.

Information Session
An information session will take place on January 26, 2013 for all interested prospective contestants. Please contact jglindsay@hotmail.com for more details.
Auditions
The Miss District of Columbia Organization conducts auditions in talent and interview to determine its contestants. Only those who successfully complete the auditions will be permitted to compete in the pageant. Auditions are scheduled for February 23, 2013.

Paperwork
Those young women who audition for this year’s pageant must complete a preliminary fact sheet: Preliminary Fact Sheet 2013 These completed fact sheets must be e-mailed to jglindsay@hotmail.com no later than Saturday, February 16, 2013 in order to be accepted for an audition.
In addition, all young women who audition MUST bring the completed Eligibility Checklist 2013 with them to the auditions. Note: Besides the form itself, contestants must bring COPIES of all required documents that prove eligibility. We will not be able to make copies that day and we must have copies that we can keep and review.
